That gearbox alone is worth at least 1/4 the cost of the car, that's a platinum model with the LSD and 4.10 gears. You should buy it, and change the timing belt and water pump, and all the fuel lines then drive it. I put 40k miles on one and only had one mechanical failure that required a tow truck.
Hmm. Very local to me. Might possibly even know this car. If only I wasn't broke.

Here I was getting excited thinking that SJ Craigslist might be San Jose or something like that, rather than South Jersey...

There are several cheap ones not far from san Jose ($400-$1800 range) on Craigslist right now. The $400 one is even a platinum.
