'93 Lexus SC300 Chump Build

I will attempt to document our Chump build. Our car is a '93 SC300 with 5 speed. One owner, 85,000 miles. Got every invoice spent on the car since day 1. We need to drive it in and out of the shop, and it sits outside. For that reason, we have left the glass and sunroof in the car at this point. We also have to remove the heater/AC housing and the sound deadening. We will get a car cover when we take the glass out, so it doesn't get wet inside. The ECU wouldn't like that.

We are looking for a cage builder, hopefully in Dade/Broward county so we won't have to transport the car too far.

We would like to be ready for the Sebring race at the end of September and will try to squeeze in a track day prior to that to shake the car down. More fun to follow!

Looks really clean, how much was it? Are you recovering enough money from sales of interior parts to justify a higher than normal buy in?

With Chumpcar you can spend as many real dollars as you want for the car or parts. The cars have a listed price in the rulebook. Find the nicest one you can and it is valued at that price. If you want to spend 20K on a car, it is still the listed price in the rules.

For example, my second gen rx7 is listed at 350. I could go buy the mintiest 2nd gen and it si still 350.
