I may have convinced a friend to swap a turbo honda motor/subframe/front suspension into his 1983 Nissan Sentra and was wondering if anyone had seen anything like that before. If you have a link to a build thread or video or something that would be really nice!

Nashco's challenge N600 did exactly that. I'm not sure its as simple as a subframe swap because I think the upper arms are tied into the chassis without the subframe involved.

Honestly I've never seen it done into the /front/ of another FWD car.

I think this is somewhat common in the early Mini's.   Maybe not the subframe, but motor and suspension.

This.

If you're going to go through all that trouble, at least put it in the *back* of the car.

Otherwise just swap the engine.
