Culprit was TPMS module wreaking havoc on the CAN bus. Probably won't be replacing it unless running without it causes some more serious issue than just "OMG my TPMS light is on".

Don't get too comfy, baby, we're just here for a couple of recalls. PCV Valve Heater and HVAC Blower Wiring.

yep, 6th gear.
on summers (225/40-18 and 255/35-18), 80 on GPS is 83 on speedo. on winters (205/55-16), 80 on GPS is 85 on speedo.
this specific test was run on winters.

No wonder I can't break into the 20s (mpg) on the M3. I need a 7th gear lol.
Sabine got some routine maintenance love this evening: Engine oil and filter, cabin air filter. Just a tick shy of 106k, she's been with me 2 years and 35k and I'm still in love.
Off with the summers:
and on with the winters for their final season:
the side by side always cracks me up. 255/35-18 vs 205/55-16:
I found an issue with one of my PS4s:
which I'll probably deal with next week.
See that E92 parked next to the STS at the top of the sloped parking lot?
No? Well, I swear that's where I parked her.
See that E92 across the parking lot and high-centered on the curb?
Yeah, fortunately she didn't hit anything on her excellent adventure. I didn't have any problem driving her out of there.
Aside from that, today was pretty uneventful. That's my local AutoZone, where I stopped to get oil and filter for Sabine. I was only a few miles past my self-imposed 7500-mile interval.
She hit 114k yesterday and I'm still in love.
Just a hair shy of 117k, so 46k miles in 3 years. Retirement day 4 (today) was seasonal tire swap day. I was in no hurry since this was the last time these winters would be on the car. Anyway, goodbye Honda Civic:
and hello you sexy 18" BBS wearing vixen:
E92s are the best. Can I ask why you park perpendicularly on your driveway? Prevent another rollaway incident?

I prefer swapping by side vs by axle, so both jacks are on the same side of the car.
Today, with hoist and help from Gearheadotaku, we R&R'd front pads and rotors, as well as rear pads and rotors (more on that), plus tried a couple things to make false stability control activations go away. We could see a bright spot on each rear tone ring where rust jacking caused it to collide with the speed sensor. So we shimmed the existing sensors about .030". This allowed everything to work as normal for about 10 minutes. Then, instead of false ESC activations, she threw ABS code. So, remove the more worn of the two original sensors, and replace it with a new one and a slightly thinner shim. Success!
but the parking brake didn't work after changing rotors. Had to pull rotors to get to adjusters, and after 3 adjustments (yes, in the correct direction) with no improvement, we compared new and old rotors. Parking drum of new rotors is almost 1" larger inside diameter. All other dimensions were spot on. WTF?!?! So we put the old rotors back on with the new pads, and I'll have to return those new rotors tomorrow.
EDIT: this pic is from Mon 6/10. I forgot to take pic of odo when we did the work Sunday 6/9.
