Best tail lights EVAR!!!
Seriously, you need to make a high-def video of that thing running, and GRM should do an article on it too.
I'm confused. I'm assuming you aren't actually doing that to the tails, but there doesn't seem to be much room to mount up the taillights. A ton of cool-it-mat and have them sit right up against the turbos?

Cool it mat and ceramic coating will help reduce heat transfer.
I actually think that could be done very well that way. You'll have to modify the lighting system and harness a bit, but if you put some sort of fancy tip on there and some mesh around the opening, perhaps riveted to said tip, that could look very fancy.
The tail lights are very thin so i could modify them to include the outlets of the turbos... BUT i don't want to permanently alter real ferrari tail lights so I'm going to make my own.. I think. Heres where it is now! I was hoping to have it running but COLD COLD weather set in. Im hoping to TIG this stuff up at school... pretty sick of my flux welds from my Hobart 125ez! lol
Man, I thought those headers looked too good to cover up! But you might want to watch the overlap on the wrap there. Too much and the metal will become as brittle as glass from the heat and break off, causing a great big leak.
wow...just...wow.
Pretty sick stuff going on here. And by that I mean the good kind of sick that comes from a belly full of tequilla and tanqueray...that kind that is only made better by Waffle House hash browns at 4am
Yeah definitely coat them. Wrap covers up too much nice work and as was mentioned you don't want to have any cracks. Better to coat them and protect the stuff around them with heat reflective material.
I second the ceramic coating. My experiences with wrap mirrors those of above.
Its looking the tits so far!
BTW, I think those taillights are similar to the ones off my old X-1/9:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fiat-X-1-9-Tail-Light-Covers-Right-Passenger-Taillight-/191065595757
and the Fiat was designed by Bertone, so it would be in the family :)
I think that you will find that pyrex glass is heat resistant enough to serve as turbo exhaust outlet.

So find a couple of pieces to use instead of metal, and then arrange surrounding lamps shining through red filters to illuminate the pyrex tubes.
Voila, turbo tail lights!
Thanks for all the input guys. I think I will undo the exhaust wrap. doesn't look good. BUT I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS!!! I got it FIRED UP today!! Turbos will be on tomorrow or sunday! http://s828.photobucket.com/user/voorhen/media/headers_zpsc52bd2d3.mp4.html
