That is so frigging awesome!
Now Stampie won't have you to tease about a perpetual car build, says the guy who has been building longer than you. Have a great trip and event.
In my fantasy world, you should be met at the Florida State border and then travel with a cop car in front and a cop car in back. Similar to how oversized loads are moved or Presidential/Governor motorcades.
School children should be bussed to the edge of the interstate to wave and witness while high school bands play.
Doves should be released as you pass.
That sort of conveys how happy I am for you!
Would have loved to hear the end of the sentence being said at the end of the video!
Car looks and sounds solid going down the road.
Y'all are making good time for when you left. Stay sharp, safe travels. Looking forward to Parking Lot updates.
Its got belts, firewall, brakes, alignment, starter, tin work, and decals.
E36 M3s ready to rock. AngryCorvair has done incredible work on this thing, and it is an amazing piece of equipment that we finished banging together in a few hours in a parking lot with what was handy. Its nowhere near the quality of the rest of the car, but it'll compete.
Im grateful to have helped.
too many people to remember helped get all the tech issues resolved. I am grateful, and will write a proper thank you tomorrow. MonZora arrived at what I thought was 95%. The MonZora Community (lol) stepped up and got it the rest of the way there.
The word "thrash" has gotten thrown around a lot in two days, I don't think that is fair to all that has happened. A community with specific individual skills have converged to help another individual who has proven that he is worthy of respect, admiration and help in a time of urgent need. Thrash implies that things were done with disregard. I watched a competitor create a safety system, another create an interior, people volunteer to help diagnose and repair issues that would be worth a fortune if it were to be billed for. Friends help Friends
Every one of you out there helping Patrick today have been amazing. I am so proud to call each and every one of you brothers. I can not get close to listing every one that ensured this but I will say the greatest supporters of what is happening deserve a lot.
Patrick's family has just had an amazing birth happen after an over 4 year gestation period , from being called our to starting the car this evening it's been a long journey.
Thank you to all those that helped my friends and congratulations Patrick, Victoria, Sarah and Helen on the fruition of your family's dream!
