Dad bought a tig. When the quarantine ends ill sign up for a tig class. Then i can put in the torque boxes!

We moved the top of the strut in and the projection point is now 0.4" from being exactly centered to the contact position L-R. Axles are same length. Caster is 5 degrees.

The welding you did near the painted areas (burning the cage in, the roof brackets) did not discolor the adjacent paint very much. For some reason I assumed there would be more heat transfer from the welding prosses. That or you guys paint things way better than I do. Probably both.

Gotcha! Part of welding chromoly is you can't get it too hot. That might be part of. It too.
That's funny. I was googling, "what does it mean when paint scorches". I thought it was some technical term for like the way reflects in the sun. Thanks.
