Catching up on pics. Tooo many hours yesterday to post 'em.
Small notch in frame to accommodate the original R&P. It was previously rebuilt by Calvin to eliminate the power.
Rotating the rack required a clearance modification.
Previous owner hacked holes into the floor.
Loving the flares!!! Clean work on that notch.

We spend a bunch of time trying to get the metal in shape so we don't need much bondo (and cost). Barely enough primer and barely enough paint finish the job.

Oh I like what that flange is suggesting.

That engine bay is clean!!!
In reply to TheV8Kid :
Is the flex joint between the manifolds for thermal expansion & contraction, or just vibration/turbo weight/etc.?

That was on there when we bought it. We may have even bought the intake from you. I'm not sure. Dad would know better.

Expansion and contraction.
For those of you wondering what turbo we are going to run.
Right off a tractor trailer!
Ooh the elusive BorgWa!
i haven't sold you guys any intakes, but when i block off an egr tractor supply has the correct expansion plugs in stock, and for boost you could make a bracket to go over the stud and bolt into the factory bolt hole for extra insurance

My dad and I were talking about doing that today. Lol. That's funny!
We made the rear floor a while back. It was genuinely satisfying to get to the point where we are assembling. This piece(s) being large enough to look like progress. What not visible is the hours of detail work completed beforehand.
Inching forward.
Dad and I had a long weekend. Rolled out of the shop for pictures for the first time in a long time.
