Ditto.

Maybe the next one should be... Has your neighbour ever complained about your hobby?

So far I have enough room for 2 Alpines and the Civic. Never thought I'd outgrow the 3 car garage...

Although there's a few homes being auctioned next month with 4 car garages.... Hmmm...? Extra bedrooms could be converted to parts rooms...

I like the way you think. My house turns 100 this year and the garage...........an after thought was designed for a single Model T.

Yes my sportscar owns the garage. It is the one likely to not start, so I argue, and be in the way of daily-duty cars. My 2003 Honda Civic is quickly losing value and the Fiat is holding strong so they are getting close in value.

My 96 Miata and 68 Spitfire have occupied my 22' x 24' 2-door garage for nearly 10 years. I wouldn't have it any other way, and my wife doesn't mind as long as I clean the snow off her car in the winter. I spent a "vacation" week this summer cleaning junk out of the garage and to my surprise found that if I were to jockey the 2 cars around with dollies there'd be room for yet another small sports car. But that wouldn't leave much space to work on the Spitfire.

iMy 2002 Civic doesn't even know cars are allowed inside (keep quiet please) My 2009 F150 will never know. My wifes 2008 convertable Solara and the Tiger share the garage. I'd like to add an Alpine, not sure how to work that out.

What's a garage?

Yep, I'm garage-less at my new house. We couldn't find one that was adequate so we found the perfect house in a neighbourhood that will allow me to build my ideal garage. Until I can begin that project next summer, everyone sleeps outside.

I'm not qualified to answer the poll this time, because the family car is a '84 Volvo wagon that's worth even less than the older Volvos in the garage. The wagon only gets into the shop for periodic maintenance.

Dougie,

I have a large living room that's never had a stick of furniture in it. Centered at the rear of the house. It's got 2 large windows. Could have been garage doors?? Indoor car display but doubt if I'd ever find a buyer if I decided to move. Currently it stores the hardtop for my runner and the primered doors, hood and trunk lid for the project car.

Great being single.

At my house, the Miata and the MGB stay in the garage. My daughter's Protege 5 and wife's Outback get to stay outside. A guy in our local British Car club here has 5 British cars in his 2 car garage (2 MGAs, an MGB, A TR6, and an MGCGT).

I have my TD my MGB, my motorcycle with sidecar (68" wide) and my Jaguar XJ coupe in the garage. The Jaguar is in final assembly after being painted, so it is in the center of a two car space, so I can walk around it. Our Volvo V70 T5 and the F350 pickup live in a carport. Everything is covered!

I'm allowed the number of garage spaces minus one "toys". Three car garage; TR3, TR8 and The Mrs. always gets an inside spot. Now about that car stacker. . . . . .

Fitting in the 8 +/- RC planes is making it tougher.

The LS400 has it's own garage, but it's not a DD, just mostly a Road Trip car. The Camry stays outside, along with the Truck and 'Rolla. The Esprit, Europa, 2 Harley's and Locost are in my shop, along with my tools, of course, and room to pull one other vehicle in for servicing.

Dave, you should have come to our car show. The head of the TD club, Dick Knudson, was our guest speaker.

My wife's Land Rover shares the garage with my TR4A, GT6 and Mustang GT. My poor truck lives the hard life outside. I've always wanted a Jaguar XJS and if I turn the TR4A and the GT6 sideways against the back wall I just might be able to get one in there. Of course, selling the idea to the wife is a different story.

I have a single car garage and a small shed with only a man door and my parents have a "three" car garage. We moved a bunch of stuff from my dad's garage to my shed and then I drove (psst dont tell the DMV) my Capri to their house and parked it sideways in the back. Their garage now houses a H3, a taurus, 8'x4' trailer, a suzuki bandit, a bmw k1200, tools, cabinets, welder, a canoe, a bench and an air compressor. At one time it had '65 Jeep J300, '53 Jeep CJ-3A, '89 MR-2 Supercharged, '91 Jetta GLI, and a Turbo Probe GT. All in a "three" car garage.

My friend recently built a house with an attached "3" car too. The garage is the same square footage as the house (~1600 sqft) .
