You hit home for me with this article. My passion for mostly European cars of the “60s starter when my father was stationed in France in the late ‘59. He had an interest is cars and in 1963 he and I at 13, went to Le Mans. Waking up at 2:00 AM (we were camping) and hearing the cars wailing around the circuit was amazing. I fell in love with the predecessor of the Ford GT, the Lola GT. Never being able to afford my dream car (289 Cobra) I got close by purchasing a ‘66 Shelby GT 350 H. I’m sure it’s not as nice as Craig Brody’s but because I have owned it for 43 years and drive it all the time. I’ve always said, they’re no fun parked in the garage.

Love all the cars on the list. But my list would be 10 pages long. Again, nice article.
