Looking to start auto-crossing in the upcoming year. What would you experienced auto--crossers recommend for radiator, manual transmission, and rear-end fluids!

Unless they've reached the end of their service intervals, I'd recommend running what's in there. This isn't rocket surgery. Run what's sitting in your driveway a couple of times. Don't change tires or anything. Just bring your car and a helmet and go have fun.

I'd start with a good, high temp brake fluid. Valvoline synthetic boils at 484 degrees dry, I believe. It's really cheap too.

Only fluid that really matters a lot is brake fluid. The rest are what you would want to run in any enthusiast car.

Rear end, factory diff is clutch type. I would wait until you are rebuilding it to replace the fluid. (which for the factory diff on my 97, it became an open diff in short order, so about every year or every other)

Great idea on changing brake fluid to a higher temp.

                    Thanks
