And they aren't coming here? That and I'm pretty sure they won't sell 4cyl's in this market again until they have to....
I wish they would bring the hatch over.. it is the prettiest of the 1 series
Agree, that's really cool looking. Reminds me of the M Coupe.
I would so do a 5 door 135.
I would even think about buying one "gasp" NEW!!!

They already have sold 4 cylinders over here, lots of them, its hatchbacks that they are afraid to introduce.
isn't the new 323 a 4 cylinder turbo?
The new 328 is a 2.0-liter 4 cylinder.
Which is really funny, since BMW marketing has been selling the 6 cylinder as the only engine that makes sense for their luxury cars since 1999.

I love the 5 door. Saw them while I was out of the country. Probably only car I'd buy new.

BMW has sold a lot of 4 cylinder cars here both 3 and Z series. It's only been the last 12 years that they cut them out. It's only a matter of time before they return...just like the diesels.
Diesels have been here for a bit now. The 335d pulls like crazy.

I meant that they will come in more configurations, the 335d and X5d were just test runs to see how the market reacted. BMW knew they would have to increase mileage sooner or later.

Weeeelllll, I wouldn't call a 3 series a luxury car anyway.
