Exploded tire on tow monster today, had to change it in the rain, in the dark. Luckily i have new tires for it, just blew up one of the good ones that i was hoping to sell. Dark, raining, pulling into parking lot with 2 kids in back not shutting up, was looking in mirror concerned about trailer and inside curb and took out the tire with the outside curb. Oops.
I would Blame the Kids too, make them change it.

9 1/2 to 10 days (depending on when exactly we decide to leave...) until I'm supposed to be on the road down to the Challenge- and I've still never had the Rampage's engine running. Made progress toward this, and hopefully will be able to get to the point of trying it tonight- but it's more and more looking like simply having the car there will be what I have to aim for vs. making any improvements...
Just ordered 60 Brats and buns for the Thursday night parking lot grill fest. I will have mustard and sauerkraut. If you want other condiments A) there is something wrong with you and B) you can bring your own. We'll have the grill going so if you want to bring anything else to cook we'll be happy to throw it on.

Hopefully it's a kick ass and a legitimate build. I have no problem losing to people who WORK for it. I have problems losing to people who CHEAT or LIE for it.

Just registered yesterday, in the cheap seats will be a $1008 multi-national effort of The South, The North, The Great North and The Caribbean as Randolph, Welsh and Gameboy bring this Ford Probe (build thread) sporting number ZERO as a reminder to all of it's purchase price.

I am really looking forward to being there to spectate this year, I just have a feeling that this will be a great event. Honestly, I am quite pained about not entering a car but necessary time off is a vital part of my overall plan.
If I am lucky I can ride shotgun on the Mule, make the all important sandwich runs, do some facebook updates or contribute to anything at all in some small way. Mostly, I will just enjoy the mayhem and try to be positive and supportive to all.
Entrants: I salute you all. I have always been in the camp of 'showing up = winning to me' and am very respectful the tremendous efforts that all of these builds require. Staff: Thank you for all of the (very) difficult and (stupendously) complicated work before, during and after The Challenge.
