They have an XLT hybrid FWD at our local dealer. I'm going to take a look at it -- we have embraced the mountain biking lifestyle and this looks like a good option for bikes. I was pleased to see that LED headlights are standard across the board. I sold our Ecoboost F150 because the headlights were so bad . . .
How long until someone does a bronco front end swap?

Oh, no. Not mine. Just stuff found elsewhere on the internet
If I had a combined $65k worth of cars in my driveway, it'd probably be thirteen $5k cars or twenty six $2.5ers.
I am extremely here for a mini truck renaissance!

I understand it hits some folks happy buttons though

Or at least they wouldn't both be the most boring colors they're available in, I'd hope.
^Perhaps the renewed emphasis on ordering cars will show the manufacturers that people do indeed like their cars to be in actual colors and that the whole grayscale thing was due to nervous dealers wanting colors that they felt were less likely to sit too long on their foot-traffic limited (as compared to the internet) lots in response to overproduction by automakers in the late-2000s through the 2010s. Remember even in early 2020 dealers were sitting on way too many cars.

I'm looking forward to the Sawzall era of this renaissance.
Heard today on Automotive News that Ford is suspending new Maverick orders as of 1/27, as capacity is apparently sold out for a while. They reportedly expect to resume taking orders again sometime this summer. Seems to be a popular little fella.

I wonder how long before we see the baby Bronco nose swapped onto a Maverick...
I moved back to south Florida at the beginning of the year and these things are EVERYWHERE. I see 3+ everyday and I work from home and only take the kids to and from school. My favorite so far was a red one I saw the other day.
Finally saw one of these in person last week while in Florida, but only got a quick look as we were on a fairly crowded highway. It was the orange-ish yellow color, and looked pretty tall, so i am guessing it was an FX4 model. Not bad looking. I still have not seen one in Ohio.
I pulled up next to one in traffic the other day. Agreed, they are bad looking.
At first glance, it's a little shorter and narrower than the Ridgeline.
In a year or so I'll have to go spend some time with one and see how it measures up. I get the feeling they are going to be pulling a premium if fuel prices stay up for any period of time. Ford may well have hit it out of the park with this one.
Saw my first one in the flesh today, FX4 in blue. Surprisingly good looking from the back or sides, but I really don't like the headlight design. Picking nits/personal opinion I guess, but a disappointment considering Ford hit it out of the park with the front end on the 2015-2020ish F150.
That said, it's less visually small and has better presence than I was expecting. I expect Ford will sell a ton of these as I think the presence part was a big chunk of the Ridgeline's issue.

At least they secured the vehicle on the trailer well...(/sarcasm)
I'm reminded of this picture I took myself years ago.

Is it really strapped to the roof?

It's OK, it's just a Chevy
Saw one in the flesh and sat in it at the Philly Auto Show and think it's a solid vehicle. Damn shame they don't offer it with a manual transmission.
Co-worker just got one. We already kid him that he got a nice El Camino.

Just watch out for the wires. They're bigger now.

So if they strap it down like that, the cab mounts and stuff will collapse.
