For those who may have missed it, there is some good news for 2015 non-NASCAR racing coverage. Looks like the second coming of Speedvision, and for good reason. Links:

Definitely sounds like old-school Speedvision. What channel is WRC on these days?

Sometimes mavtv has it. 214 on DirecTV.
To get MAVTV I have to go to a premium package and that is another $100 a month. Sounds like many people with Verizon will be left out.
the CBS and NBC sports channels have a lot of different types of racing- they kind of remind me of the old TNN back in the late 80's and early 90's, except they don't have the swamp buggy racing..
In reply to novaderrik:
I used to watch TNN every Sunday. I miss the Swamp Buggies, and Steve Evans trying to say Sarel van der Merwe. I have no idea why that popped into me head.
I had mav then they changed the packages again, I've been meaning to find out what package I have to switch to to regain it, it just seems everytime I try to get one thing I lose another, last time I lost BBC to get velocity. I really wish they would just offer true a la carte plan. I don't need any sports channels that aren't car centric yet I have a batch of espn's plus some from fox and some others. I'm also pretty sure I don't need the spanish channels, religious or political channels.
Other than PWC, CBS sports plays that stuff already. I DVR'd & tried to watch the FIA GT race and the coverage was awful, event though John Watson was one of the commentators. Cuts to commercials while there is on-track action, right in the middle of the announcer talking, etc.
For those dealing with odd pay-tv tiers, the articles seem to say there will be streaming events available on their site, though a subscription will be needed.
