I would favor the NC for something that will see DD use. It’s roomier and more powerful with a stiffer chassis.

Zzw30 (2000+) mr2s are awesome cars and serious value. A 6k one can be found in very very nice condition. I have two, both turbocharged, one s 2zz swapped, the storage situation is always overstated imho, I dd one with a kid, do all the shopping with it, it's fine.
