No, not a Starion, but a 1988 Galant Sigma. From a time when you couldn't have success without excess. And I want it.

Nothing tents my pants like orange lettering on grey plastic. The only thing that could make that more perfect is a Subaru XT-style asymmetrical steering wheel.

Yes similar in location, but actuated in a manner that makes sense...
I am in love with those seats. Just by looking at them I can pretty confidently proclaim them to be one of the most comfortable seats ever put in a motor vehicle.
I checked out one of those in a junkyard and IT WAS COOL!
Also, one of my friends dyno'd over 500whp with a self-turbo'd version of that motor.

On his way to challenge, IIRC.

Trivia question: name another not-so-obscure car that had no stalks and thus a turn signal switch mounted on the gauge surround. It also started its life in the '80s.
That interior is pretty epic. They thought '90s BMWs had lots of buttons...ha! Pretty sure that's the same V6 that showed up in my mom's '89 Caravan back in the day, too. Oh, the DSM days.

I have that same stereo setup in my 1990 Mitsu van. And by the way Johnathan thanks for letting everyone in on the deal that I have already contacted the dealer about!! You are going to ruin it for me, man!!!

Later Dodge Daytonas had the turn signal on the dash. All the owners hate it.
Also, Dodge Monaco/Eagle Premier had a similar thing going on to the Sigma.

Ford Probe. Had a '89 myself; you could definitely tell from the interior design that they'd been thinking "Space Probe".
That thing reminds me of an 80's sport bike, and just how good the Japanese are at designing something that looks dated 10 minutes after it goes on sale.
Sorry but the Subaru XT is, and always will be, the most 80s-tastic car of all time.
Wedge shape with angular space-fighter styling? Check.
Angular wacky interior, crazy steering wheel with buttons, Atari joystick for a shifter and digital dash? Check.
