I ended up having to put the new boost gauge into a different place in the MR2 after the originally planned gauge holder didn't work out so hot (it put the gauge right behind the rim of the steering wheel...).
With the new location I only have very limited depth and at the moment the vacuum hose going to the gauge is pushing up the holder. What I need to fix that is a rubber elbow piece that has approx 4mm or 5/32" ID so it'll fit over the boost gauge connector.
The more common plastic elbows are just a tad to tall to make them work. Unfortunately I seem to be drawing a blank finding one using my Google skills, anybody got a suggestion?
like this?

Yes, something like that, just with a 5/32" ID instead of the 1/4".

If I had this need, I'd hit the junkyard. I'm thinking there's something exactly like what you need on an Iron Duke S-10, but if you spend half an hour combing the yard, I will virtually guarantee you will find something.
Just bend some 5/32 silicone line. It's plenty pliable.

This. Look at GM TBI V8s and Dodge Magnum engines (V6 and V8), they have a few elbows on them.
The answer is always McMaster-Carr

Check out this one Rubber fitting
Thanks Hal, that looks like a decent candidate.
@Dietcoke, unfortunately having to bend the silicone line I'm using right now is causing the problem.
The plastic elbows - which were my first thought, especially as I can get them at Summit Racing in Sparks - don't help much because the combination of elbow plus short rubber pipe are too tall to fit in the shallow place I've got the gauge in right now.
