Struggling with car decision involving family...

I think that pseudo-converting it back to street 'friendly' is an amazing idea, and honestly the perfect tribute to your grandpa.  You'll enjoy/use it more often than the occasional event, and you'll be able to interact with others about the story... which is really what all of this is about.

Well the process is under way. Step one is make garage space and money, so the Z06 is listed on Bring A Trailer.

I have also talked to Gramps about the car at length and my Dad about the drivetrain.

Maybe a fly-n-ride instead. Set up the ultimate GRM relay with you riding along with whoever is pulling the car trailer that day.
