From the early turbocoupes (85-86) using the Garrett T03 turbo, where might I find the oil restrictor? Is it the 90* fitting at the top of the cartridge (the porting looks a bit large, IMO) or is it located elsewhere in-line witht he oil feed?

I don't believe there is a separate part that can be called a restrictor. Stock parts are adequate. Are you getting smoke or oil in the intake? Some folks at turboford have done some work with restrictors for different bearings or other considerations.

Thanks Bruce. The turbo is going on the Challenger, so no smoke....yet. The piping size that I have is small diameter-wise, but from various turbocharger installations I've come across, it seems there was something else to limit oil pressure to the turbo. I'd like to avoid popping a turbo the day before the event :).

Kev - I got an oil inlet restrictor for my T25 from ATP Turbo.

Also, in a pinch I have used a globe valve and pressure gauge from grainger to regulate oil pressure to a turbo. Not ideal, but it worked.
