Can the viper motor make more than the hellcat motor? 825 horse hellcat in a challenger, imagine what a 1,000 HP viper can do!
What's happening with Mopar Performance/Direct Connection? And will the Hellcat motor be available as a crate motor?
When can we expect an SRT version of the Dart? Something to compete with the Focus / Fiesta ST----- Today? Tomorrow? Come on----it's already a bit late to the party.

Yeah, we definitely touched on that. Long answer short: It's hard to run a company and sell cars cheaply that are expensive to make. But it's a segment they understand they're behind the curve on at this point. I think the real answer is somewhere between "don't hold your breath" and "don't be too surprised when it happens."

Looks like I didn't reply to this thread in time, but Rob asked exactly what I was wondering myself.
Why haven't they made the Dodge Razor concept to compete with/beat the Miata and FRS/BRZ?
Why are Dodge products so much heavier than the other domestics?
Wally wrote: In reply to Rob_Mopar: I'm ok with that. It's too late now but has anyone touched his Dart.
Lesley did what now?
Will the Hellcat Hemi be available as a crate engine.
Will MoPar make their Hemi more hackable. Hemi swaps seem to be stymied by heavily encrypted and propitiatory engine management. People put LS engines in everything. Why not Hemis?
I think it's physical size more than anything else that makes the LS more swappable than the Hemi. Well, that and there are soo many LS variants out there that you can find them laying along side the road. People buy them, set them down and forget about them. They they buy another one.
Seriously the discounts on the Viper make me so freaking mad. What are you thinking. Add in the crap I am already getting about markup on the Hellcat.
I passed on the TA Viper after getting the run around from every single local SRT dealer then you go and knock almost 15K off the base cars to kick sand in the guys of the eyes who ponied up for the first run of cars and those of us who were going to be repeat buyers.
What in the world make you think that you can keep guys buying cars from you if you keep pulling this crap. There has to be some consistency and reward for coming back to the brand when you start getting into the price points you want the SRT/Dodge products to play in.

Which cars are expensive to make besides the Viper?
Where's the Fiesta-fighter? Where's the mid-size car? Why can't the Dodge dealer across the street sell anything?
Ralph is a cool guy. I remember having lunch at work in Auburn Hills with him and a bunch of other GRM type guys before he became bigtime. He is a true GRM kind of guy even if his corporate duties don't allow him to show it.
The Dart is not the right chassis for any sporty car. I hope he can find a way to make the Alfa Romeo 4C some kind of Dodge product. Or just make us something as motorsport friendly as the Neon off a new or different platform.

They came back last week. There was a couple week break for Nationals and being on the road and whatnot. But I posted the most recent one Friday I think, so there is a new one available.I'm trying to stick to a Wednesday schedule, but that gets tough since it's the day after an issue goes to the printer and I may be doing some troubleshooting all day.
For now I'm completely comfortable using the term "mostly weekly."
