Wouldn't the cat still be under warranty if its being replaced? I thought honda had a 10 year warranty for emissions components
50/50 muffler in San Carlos. It's a small one man shop. He is likely not going to have a specific bolt in cat for your Honda. He will be able to weld the right flanges on a CARB compliant generic replacement. He does a good job and prices are reasonable for the peninsula. One of our fellow Bay Area auto-crossers turn me on to him many years ago.

The car is over mileage at 95k :( otherwise, yes, the federal warranty would apply.

Here's the list of current aftermarket catalytic converter EO's.
The only place the 2010 CR-V is listed in the appendices of approved vehicles is here (EO D-798). AP Exhaust holdings (d.b.a CATCO and Eastern) series 740000 and 747000 three-way catalytic converters.
MFR part# 741312 for direct fit
MFR part# 747035 for universal fit
Page 170 and 171 of the document.
Obviously please double check since ARB doesn't really make it super easy to dredge the information out. Eastern's website confirms that they CARB legal though.
Of course I don't see anywhere you can actually buy one, so I don't really know what to tell you. Call Summit or Eastern directly?

I don't think there is such a thing in California anymore. The compliant replacement cats have to be direct bolt in for the vehicle. If the aftermarket doesn't make one, they expect you to buy OE.
Man I hope that isn't true. That would make it virtually impossible to field any less common 1976-1999 vehicle.
I think the case is that you can use a "generic" CA approved cat, but the unflanged cat has to approved for *that* particular year and model. IE the right flow ability and internal surface area.

It seems to be better than it used to be. The EO that I linked covers a huge number of vehicles and is for a product range, rather than the way it used to be, where each EO only covered a very specific application. There appears to be several EO's which are practically universal for that 1976 - 1999 range although they stipulate exactly which manufacturers part number applies to the application, rather than a best guess by the end user.
