For the second time in a month, I've had to gather up the cat and head to the basement. Not cool, not cool at all. At least the immediate borough area wasn't hit but I'm not so sure about outlying properties. And, I did learn the cat can get out jail with some concentrated effort.
For those of you in Pennsylvania, be on the lookout and stay safe!
Glad to hear that you and the cat are ok. One of mine is an escape artist.
Yea, got that warning. Ignored it like always, living in a valley surrounded by trees with no basement means I hope a tornado comes through, I may wind up with a new house.
Few years ago, ok closer to 15, my friends family lost their trailer to a tornado not 3 miles from here. Then they lost its replacement a year later. Missed the whole rest of the trailer park both times.
Where abouts in PA are you?

I'm in Brockway, population less than 2500 with one stop light.
The Weather Channel was reporting there have been only 13 PA tornados recorded in October and it was six years ago when the last one hit. I'm thinking this system is going make that total a lot higher.
Yea, had that warning from 6-6:30 pm. Phone and radio lit up w/ NWS warnings. I kept working in the garage, take me if it's meant to be.
Not to discount tho, tornado landed 3/4 mile from here in February, tore E36 M3 up.
No winds, I spilled a beer, totally my fault.
Stay safe, glad you are okay so far. If my cat freaks out, I won't have a chance at rounding him up.

Thanks, Randy! I've lived here for three years and two months and have had two tornado warnings more than the forty years (or so) I lived in GA.
The cat wasn't freaking out; he just really hates being in the carrier. But, he sure didn't like it when there was a close-by lightning strike; the kind where there was zero delay between the bolt and the thunder. I saw that one while looking out across the rear deck.
