Speaking of time machines...
My dad was going to college in Victoria, Tx at the time this car http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/Detail/3589GT.250GTO.htm was in possesion of the local high school. After a few years, they couldn't afford to keep it running anymore for parades, so they offered it to a bunch of local SCCA guys for around $7500.

I have a bunch of Popular Mechanics and similar mags from the 60's and 70's I found at garage sales. Check out this blurb:
Yeah, 16K for a new Ford GT-40.

There's one of those that buzzes out of the Saratoga County Airport, interesting sound. I understand it's very quiet in the cabin because the engines are aft.

We installed a camera system at the Clearwater airport a few years ago. The hanger had 5 of those, being used a corporate charter planes. Pretty on the outside, freakin gorgeous on the inside. Some people really know how to travel. Ferrari was part owner.
In reply to Appleseed: Didn't Cessna build a similar airplane, but with jets instead of turboprops? This looks much smaller than the Cessna model, though.
Still, a pretty plane.
