There is a guy doing exactly that. I guess if you use it only for the track it wouldn't be bad,, seeing how it will get about 6mpg. I'm just putting a 6.2 in mine. Yes, not the most exotic sounding thing around,, but torque for days, reliability, cost and 25mpg will ease my mind...lol

This shot shows my rig with the original Velinion. Running MM2 on 11.1v now. I do not know why anyone would want to run this rig on 14.8v. Barely controllable off the line even with center diff.
Jackie Stewart was wrong. . . you can have too much hp.. .
Telemetry (calc'd by tire and gearing)came back as doing 41 mph @ impact. Have had it up to 53 and gets uncontrollable. Full throttle on workbench with wheels up is 66. Returns telemetry through transmitter to my Iphone and give me speed, engine temp, and battery life.

A set of momentume slick would help calm your Slash down bit. I have a set of Dynamite Speed treads on my ae sct10 with a Speed Passion 13.5 in it right now. Next season I will be putting a Novak 10.5 in it. I think that all the power the rear tires can handle.

Janel works in construction. She took one look and said "that's an 8!", followed by a whole bunch of appreciative noises as to the sheer scale of the beast. She also pointed out that the previous picture of the 8 on the trailer was taken on an airport, they had the special airport flags on top. Yes, she's a construction nerd.
Another pretty big vehicle. On top of a another.
In reply to 914Driver: There is a fellow in town that has one. Two thumbs up on style and quality. He was looking to sell it for 95K. No takers -----Can't help you on who does the conversion. It is not a kit.
