I feel there is a lot more to the story with this sign, and I am unsure I want to know.

Hes just an old hand trying to show you the way.
Oh, I'm not looking to fight anyone, young or old. I was just curious who I was dealing with. I've been building and running forum websites since 1997. I've spent almost half my life participating on and managing forums. I can tell you from long experience that a well-meaning old-timer who takes it upon himself to police other people's behavior can be as disruptive to a site as any troublemaker.
FWIW, It was not my intention to be a troublemaker, then or now.
Now, to change the subject, here is a picture of my first Corvette. It was a 2000 FRC, in Nassau Blue. I've owned four Corvettes and this is the one I most regret selling.

Because that is a national language in India? Hindi also, but high courts run English.
Every fall 20 - 30 of us would camp out at the airport in Lake Placid. One year I was flying with another glider and made a couple of passes near Algonquin Peak, solid granite, good lift! We got back to camp and Smokey was waiting for us. Seems a group from New Jersey bitched saying we "ruined their Adirondack experience". (not actual Algonquin).

Hang on, that's uncontrolled air space I take it? I assume non of you was doing anything illegal. What did the police say, and what was your response?
We calmly explained how a plane with no engine stays aloft, Park Ranger rolled his eyes, laughed and said "I know, I know, but I have to respond to a situation. You guys have a nice stay." At the end of the runway is an open area, mowed and surrounded by woods where some of us threw tents but because wifey came up, I always rented an A Frame type trailer for $200/week. We were invited there by the airport manager, his Air Tour business triples when we're in town; however the Canadians noses were out of joint as LKP is their "home airfield".
Below is the ski jump, tourists go to the top and take pictures. It's also within the landing pattern, we shoot down the far side, turn 90* left, got 100 yards, do another 90 to land. If you hit the downwind fast you can circle the tower with wings dead vertical, all they see is the inside of your cockpit. No, cops & FAA never came ....
