Anyone spot an artificial horizon on that instrument panel?
Come to think of it, I don't see any of the traditional backup steam gauges.
It doesn't have any IFR gauges. Just too small to fit a full IFR cluster in that panel. Nice layout though. Digital altimeter, a single display for all the engine functions, and a second one for radio.
I'm not a pilot, but a plane that CAN'T be flown by IFR seems like a poor idea. I sort of assumed that an artificial horizon was one of those things you sort of needed.
Lots of planes (and many pilots) are not IFR-capable.
The only time you arguably need an artificial horizon in VMC is when flying over water at night. Otherwise, why use an artificial horizon when the real one is right outside the window?

Pilot's have to be rated to fly IFR so if noted rated why have it. But it does appear to me that the 2 displays on the right are what we call Multi-function displays (MFD) and the screen can be tailored and/or changed to what is needed/wanted at that time. We are transitioning to that stuff on helicopters and airliners & fighters have had it a while. It's getting cheaper as the technology gets better.
