Sam Morrill: Positive Influence. This is so funny but so wrong. The wife is trying hard not to laugh.
In reply to Gary :
Actually, I'm replying to myself, because I really like Wolfgang Niedecken. He founded BAP, and he's a great performer. He has aged quite well, and continues to perform, although maybe not quite to the same crowds as the eighties.
Wolfgang Niedecken - Verdamp Lang Her
During the eighties, nineties, and early two thousands, I spent a lot of time in Germany on business (including a few laps at the 'Ring). I got to love the people, the customs, and especially the music. The music clubs in the individual small villages were great. And I really do love the German people.
Forever Young - German version
Great German version of this Bob Dylan classic. Wolfgang Niedecken is the old-timer who is a world-class rocker but rarely utters a word of English ... except at the very end of this. He has a very talented young contemporary guy accompanying with superb guttural English language vocals. (Easy for a German, I guess, but definitely with great effect. You have to hear it to appreciate it). I like it.
On the day of her passing, I'm listening to Buddy Holly sing about Peggy Sue.
