Most of a radial mount brake kit for STI with 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Small setup was made to fit 11.75"x 1.25" rotors inside 15x7 ET40 Team Dynamics rally wheels. Large setup was made to fit 13.06" x 1.25" rotors inside 17x8 ET45 Enkei RPF1's and 17x8 ET48 Rota Slipstreams. This is NOT the full brake kit, required to complete the kit are:
- Wilwood forged superlite calipers front/rear + lines
- Front rotors 13.06" x 1.25" - 12x8.75" mount for large setup
- OEM STI rear rotors (turned down on OD) for small setup
- OEM STI rear rotors (as delivered) for large setup
To swap between small/large setup the calipers are unbolted, rotors swapped, calipers bolted back with corresponding spacers.
Note 1 - the calipers used were Wilwood Billet Forged Superlite, radial mount, which it looks like they no longer sell, but the current Forged Superlite 6R/4R look like they have the same footprint.
Note 2 - rear pads are not off the shelf, they are from Porterfield, Q compound, Wilwood 7420 shape but with 25mm thickness to accommodate the relatively narrow OEM STI rotor. Pads were not difficult to obtain but spares should be ordered ahead of time.
Note 3 - rear hand brake shoes are Porterfield R4 Kevlar compound which is for vintage mechanical brake cars. Almost as powerful as hydraulic and very easy to modulate.
