And you make look so easy!
650 whp without fiddling with the tune yet.
This is interesting.
Since you guys are basically done with your car so soon I'll drop mine off for the "finishing" touches.

Done??? There's a ton of work to do post dyno session. Then we will hit the track and then there will be a dozen items from that testing. Feel free to help us out.

It's going to come in right around 2600 pounds with driver. A little heavier than we wanted, but that is with all steel hatches and panels, and glass all the way around. To make it lighter, it will start to get expensive and/or time consuming. We'll see if it meets the goals, and move on from there.

This car is definitely starting to get the exposure your family's builds deserve. Don't know what it will take to win the LS4 king challenge, but I'm sure you guys will set the bar pretty high for everyone else trying.
Very cool.
Did you start with a big piece of sheet and use an English wheel to get the shape?
I see the welds where I'm guessing it was too tight to form.
I sure hope those 8's hook up when y'all punch da LOUD pedal.....but heh what's a little tire smoke amongst like minded GEARHEDDS!!

It's scraps of other cars. I have a habit of collecting odd shaped metal in the barn. It's amazing (to me) how often the chunks of scraps turn into new pieces.

Didn't mean to disappoint. I was just trying to make clearance for the current intake, the future intake, allow air to move around it...and not make an albatros.

We prefer to dyno on drag radials instead of slicks. Go back a few pages and you'll see 10" slicks and the appropriate wheels. We are just enjoying the comments on the Cragars.

Not disappointed at all, it's just the first thing that came to mind was a smaller car was trapped under the hood
