I made my suggestion because i'm still fairly certain he's trolling as he used to.

You couldn't get an ECHO under $1400 in Ontario, Canada if you TRIED.

In the event that this isn't just yet another troll (boy who cried wolf), mndsm's idea is what i'm going with.

88-92 MX6 GT. 88-92 626 GT. 88-92 Probe GT.

They're cheap, even in canada. There's quite a few people who have them that live in your general area. Good gas mileage, quick, reliable. They will not die.

OK, I'll look into the MX6 GT, but also the Merkur XR4Ti. Terrible parts coverage, but FR, and not a total piece of e36 m3. Like an E30, but less cash. Also, I might consider making myself a V8LVO 240. I know a friend that has equipment that may be helpful, plus the 302 just won't die.

I'd rather build an XR4Ti race car, i'd rather depend on an MX6 GT as a daily driver. Your mileage may vary.

Well, my Grandma. used to have a Scorpio, and I loved that car. Probably because she always drove it 30 Km/h above the speed limit. I guess I'm the freak of the Car world with this. Plus, all the XR4Ti needs is an intercooler from a T-bird Turbo Coupe, or an SVO, and it'll make a killing against the ricers.

You might be interested to know that Charles Portis, author of "True Grit" and four other classic, comic novels drove a Diplomat for many years until it finally, completely collapsed and he bought a Chevy PU with a camper shell.

Or, you might not.

I bought one for my sister for $1800... 2002 with only 110,000 kms on it, and I talked the guy into a new clutch. Now for the important part. Why would any self-respecting car guy want an Echo?

to put a turbocharged 1mz-fe in the trunk, isn't it obvious?
