I think RBR decided they couldn't beat MB on a 1 stop, basically the same strategy. So they will try a two stopper.

So it could very well come down to Max with fresh tires trying to chase down Lewis on old tires. Lewis can be a hard guy to catch in that scenario, but we've seen it before. As long as the passes are clean, it'll be fun to watch.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Exactly, it hinges on tire life for both competitors.
Also, Perez and Bottas become critical players if they can stay within pit windows.
One with many world titles the other trying for his first, each starting it on different tires, and equal on points.
It's going to be an epic race. Both deserve the title.
The start, though, was 100% not expected. Max just sat there and Lewis got a great start.
For the rest of the field- too bad for Lando, maybe he can get that spot back.
Leclerc eyeball cam is excellent.
Stewards: if you force someone off track, you have to race them where they end up.
Lewis is already pulling away on harder tires, I feel like we've seen all the action we're going to see.

How it should always be.

Lewis on the radio saying "that's some dangerous driving..."
Hmmmm no... that was some great racing. Shame that Max can't race like that.
That's the sort of battle we wanted to see between Max and Lewis. Hell of a job by Perez to help his teammate.
The computations around the importance of track position probably doesn't take into account the dive bomb, though....
It's one thing to catch, another thing to pass, and yet one more thing to just throw it into the corner and hope the other guy gets out of the way.
wae said:Oh, and the more Lewis talks about how bad his tires are the better I think his tires actually are!
I wonder if there's some rope-a-dope going on here.
Keith Tanner said:I'm hoping they release more of that Leclerc viewpoint cam, it's intense.
There might be a bit too much vomit from the viewers if they go full time to Charles.
