How did forum user AMiataCalledSteve acquire an old Richard Petty Driving Experience car? It went something like this:
Have you ever driven past a dilapidated car that immediately captured your imagination until you couldn't stop thinking about it? Of course you have, this is GRM, we all suffer from the same breed of opportunistic thinking (or insanity, your preference).
Lots of pestering and a low-ball offer later, and the car was snug in AMiataCalledSteve’s garage.
The plan for the car? Make it into a track car capable of going both left and right turns–similar to our very own ASA stock car project.
