Reader's Ride of the Week

So, on our homepage we have a slider that we dedicate to a cool ride owned by one of our readers. We try to change it every week. I figured this could be the beginning of a fun game.

I'll post who our featured reader is here every week. If anyone wants to cast a write-in ballot, feel free to leave it in this thread.

And our first week's winner is Ben_Modified with his crazy 400-horsepower kei truck..

I like the idea of readers rides, but I just want the juicy bit quickly - pics and stats. Then have a link to the build section.

Now that's awesome.

This is a good example of why carousels suck. Whatever is in slot 5 may as well not even exist. It's either worth putting on the home page or it's not. (I think it is.)

Agreed. I can move it up in the order if that settles any angst.

I'm just glad we only display five slots. Cough...mlb.com...Cough...

Interesting...in all my years here, I had never visited that page. "Click on the magazine logo"...Who knew?
